Affiliate terms

These terms apply if you refer people to crowdstop with a referral link, or make videos for us in return for a free brand.

Joining

• You must be 18 or over. We review every application and can say no without giving a reason.
• Customers get a link automatically when we deliver their brand. These terms apply to them too.

Your link and what you earn

• People who buy through your link pay the normal price. Your link simply tells us they came from you. A sale counts as yours if they buy within 30 days of first clicking your link, on the same device and browser.
• You earn 18% of the amount the customer actually paid for each Starter, Launch or Founder package bought through your link, after any offer or discount and excluding hosting. From your 6th paid referral onwards, that goes up to 22%.
• You don't earn on hosting, on your own purchases, or on orders that are refunded.

Getting paid

• We pay once a month by bank transfer, for every referred package delivered at least 14 days before the payment date.
• We'll ask for your bank details the first time you're due a payment. You're responsible for any tax on what you earn.

How to promote crowdstop

• Label every post that includes your link as an ad, for example by starting the caption with “Ad” or #ad. This is a legal requirement in the UK.
• Be honest about what crowdstop does, and only use the prices and package details on our website.
• Don't present yourself as crowdstop, run search ads on the crowdstop name, post your link on coupon or voucher websites, or send spam.

Free brand for videos

• If we accept you for a free Starter brand, you agree to make 2 short videos about it, which we'll agree with you before you start, and to post at least one on your own Instagram or TikTok, labelled as an ad.
• You give crowdstop the right to use your videos, name and handle in our own posts, website and paid ads for 12 months from when you send them.
• If the videos aren't delivered within 30 days of your brand, we may charge the normal Starter price.

Ending the arrangement

You can stop at any time by emailing hello@crowdstop.com. We can end it at any time too, including if these terms aren't followed. Commission you've already earned from delivered packages will still be paid, unless the terms were broken. We may change these terms and will email you if we do.
